Pakistan Air Force To Have A New Chief of Air Staff Next Month

The Chief of Air Staff (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman has confirmed that he will not seek extension in his service and will retire next month. Vice Chief of Air Staff (VCAS), Air Marshal Tahir Rafiq Butt is the senior most in the line of succession.

The decision about the new of the Chief of Air Staff (CAS) will be taken by the President Asif Ali Zardari on advice of the Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilan.
