Pakistani local news channels are reporting that Pakistani government has allocated funds for the development of a nuclear submarine for Pakistan Navy to restore the deterrence stability in region.

Russia has recently handed over the (К-152 Nerpa) INS Chakra II nuclear powered attack submarine to the Indian Navy and has helped India in the development of the Arihant nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine.
