Pakistan Secures Deal Worth $94 million To Supply 20 Super Mushak Trainers


Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Kamra has signed deals to supply Super Mushshak basic trainer aircraft to the Iraqi Air Force under a deal worth US $94 million. Under this deal Pakistan will help train the personnel of  Iraqi Air Force and Iraqi Air Defence Controllers.


JF-17 Thunder and Super Mushshak Represent Pakistan At Dubai Air Show

The JF-17 Thunder fighter jets and and Super Mushshak basic trainer of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has reached UAE to participate in the Dubai Air Show 2013. Three JF-17 Thunder fighter jets of the 16 Squadron ‘Black Panthers’ will represent the Pakistani defence industry in the prestigious Middle eastern air show.

Pakistan has so far inducted JF-17 Thunders into its 16 Squadron ‘Black Panthers’ and 26 Squadron ‘The Thunder Spiders.’ Plans are already underway to re-equip the 27 Squadron ‘Zarrars’ at Pakistan Air Force Base Rafiqui which currently operates Mirage 5EF ROSE III fighter attack aircraft 

Pakistan and China are pushing the JF-17 for export with Qatar and Sri Lanka are being targeted as first export customers.

Two Seat JF-17 Thunder / FC-1 Xiaolong Fighter Jet Trainer

Two Seat model of the Sino-Pak JF-17 Thunder / FC-1 Xiaolong fighter aircraft being readied for display at the Paris Air Show which will start tomarrow.

Two seater version will have fatter spine to accommodate the electronic equipment moved due to the additional cockpit space.

The two seater model of the JF-17 Thunder was carrying 2x PL-12/SD-10 Beyond visual range active radar-guided air-to-air missile (BVRAAM), 2x PL-5 E II Within Visual Range Air to Air Missiles (WVRAAM) for self defence purposes and two air to surface/anti-ship missiles for ground/maritime attack role.

Air to surface/anti-ship missile seems to be the Chinese C-802A Anti-ship Missile which can hit ground and martime targets from standoff distance of 180 km.

PAF Fighter Jet Training Crashes in The Range

A fighter jet traininer of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has crashed near Kot Shakir in the Thal range. The Spokesperson of the PAF has confirmed the news and said that rescue services had informed PAF officials that one body was pulled out from the wreckage of the aircraft. Eyewitness has reported that training aircraft caught fire in mid-air before crashing into the ground.

Turkish Havelsan To Develop New Pakistani Armed Force’s C4I

Turkey’s Havelsan software and systems integration firm has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Pakistan Armed Forces for the development, the Pakistan Armed Force’s C4I (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence).

Turkish Havelsan will also develop simulators for the Pakistan Air Force's Sino-Pak JF-17 Thunder, F-16 C/D/MLU Fighting Falcon, C-130E Hercules, Mil Mi-17 and Super Mushak basic traniners.

Pakistan’s Military Vehicle Research and Development Establishment (MVRDE) is also all set to benefit from these agreements as Havelsan has developed a tank artillery simulator. Havelsan jas already delivered Artillery Forward Observer Simulators, an Electronic Warfare Test and Training Range and battle management and information systems. 

Pakistani Mushak Traning Aircraft Crash Lands

A Mushak training aircraft of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) crashed in Trangzai area of Charsadda District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Monday. 

 The Mushak aircraft was partially damaged while making the emergency landing, however, the trainee pilot and instructors remained safe, the PAF officials added.

 The air force’s spokesman in a statement said that the aircraft made emergency landing due to some technical fault and both the pilots remained safe. Police rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area

Two Pakistani Mushshak Basic Trainer Aircrafts Collided Mid-Air

Two Mushshak basic trainer aircrafts of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) collided mid-air northwest of Islamabad, resulting in the death of four pilots. Both aircrafts were on a routine training mission.


District police officer Mohammad Hussain said. “One of the aircraft crashed over a house, injuring a girl and an elderly man, and the second plane crashed in the fields” in the Rashkai area.

Pakistani Female Fighter Pilot Injured in FT-7Jet Trainer Crash

A FT-7 fighter jet trainer of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has crashed near Mianwali while it was on training mission.

A female fighter pilot trainee of the Pakistan air force and the instructor has suffered injuries during their ejection from the aircraft.

Female fighter pilot trainee, Fatima and her instructor Wing Commander Waqar Ahmad were were later shifted to the Hospital by the search and rescue team of the Pakistan Air Force.

Turkish T-37C Jet Trainer Crash Kills Pakistani And Turkish Pilots

Pakistani local news channel, Dunya News has reported that both Pakistani and Turkish missing fighter pilots were not able to survive the crash of their T-37 fighter jet trainer.

Pakistan Air Force's Squadron Leader Masood Hussain was on posted in Turkey as part of the experience exchange program with the Turkish Air Force.

Pakistani And Turkish Pilots Missing After Air Force's T-37C Jet Crashed

The fighter pilots of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and Turkish Air Force are missing after their T-37 fighter jet trainer crashed in sea in Turkey. The T-37 fighter jet trainer was on a training mission when it crashed in the Aegean Sea, near the Turkish Air Base.

The spokesperson of the Pakistan Air Force has confirmed that Squadron leader Masood Hussain took off from Turkish Air Base in a training mission when it crashed into the sea.

PAF No.1 Fighter Conversion Unit Re-Equipped With K-8P Karakoram

In his address at the ceremony held for the re-equipment of the PAF's No.1 Fighter Conversion Unit, Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal, Rao Qamar Suleman  has said that Pakistan Air Force (PAF)  has always matched quantity with quality training. 

The No.1 Fighter Conversion Unit of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has been reequipped with the Karakoram K-8P fighter jet trainer.

This ceremony at the PAF Base Mianwali.also marked an end to the long  era of services rendered by the FT-5 fighter jet trainer.

Pakistan Gears Up For Dubai Airshow 2011 With 7 Aircraft

Pakistan Air Force is participating with seven aircrafts at the Dubai Airshow 2011. Organisers of the Dubai Air Show 2011 has said that pp to 1,000 exhibitors from 50 different countries will participate in air show.

Thee JF-17 Thunder fighter jets of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) will take part in this year's Dubai Air Show. One Jf-17 Thunder will perform aerobatic manoeuvres, second will be ready as replacement if first JF-17 suffers from some problem, while third will be used as for the static display at the air show.
