PakSat-1R Satellite Ground Station Inaugurated By PM Gilani


Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has inaugurated Pakistan’s 1st high tech Ground Station for the Communication Satellite Paksat-1R. The satellite Paksat-1R will serve Pakistani needs for next fifteen years. Another similar Ground station will also be up in Karachi.

Anti-Drone Protester Killed In CIA Drone Attack

Latest CIA drone strike has resulkted in the death of a Pakistani teenager who has recently participated in the anti-drone attack rally.  against US drone strikes, was killed in an attack by the CIA-operated spy planes in North Waziristan tribal region, a campaigner against the missile strikes said today.

Sixteen-year-old Muhammad Tariq was killed in a missile attack by CIA operated drone in the North Waziristan tribal region.

He had recently protested against such drone strikes along with other tribesmen in the Islambad last Friday. Anti-drone protest was launched to show anger over the high number of civilian deaths in these strikes. Hundreds of tribesmen participated in the rally to protest over illegal murders of their love ones.

Yound Muhammad Tariq  and his twelve year old cousin, Waheed were killed in a missile attack fired from a drone last night near Mirali.
