Pakistani F-16C Block 52 Simulators To Be Upgraded With SimuSphere HD-9™ Visual Display

Two F-16C Block 52 aircrew trainiong simulators of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) will be upgraded with the new SimuSphere HD-9™ visual displays by the L-3 Link Simulation & Training (L-3 Link).

This upgrade will make PAF as the first export customer of the new SimuSphere HD-9™ visual displays which is also considered as a proven approach to Helmet Mounted Cueing System (HMCS) training.

The United States Air Force has awarded the contract for upgradation of the Pakistani F-16C Block 52 aircrew trainiong simulators to the L-3 Link Simulation & Training in Arlington.

Turkish T-37C Jet Trainer Crash Kills Pakistani And Turkish Pilots

Pakistani local news channel, Dunya News has reported that both Pakistani and Turkish missing fighter pilots were not able to survive the crash of their T-37 fighter jet trainer.

Pakistan Air Force's Squadron Leader Masood Hussain was on posted in Turkey as part of the experience exchange program with the Turkish Air Force.

The fighter pilots of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and Turkish Air Force are missing after their T-37 fighter jet trainer crashed in sea in Turkey. The T-37 fighter jet trainer was on a training mission when it crashed in the Aegean Sea, near the Turkish Air Base.

The spokesperson of the Pakistan Air Force has confirmed that Squadron leader Masood Hussain took off from Turkish Air Base in a training mission when it crashed into the sea.

Pakistan Army has recently shown interest in purchasing latest AH-1Z SuperCobra  attack helicopter to replace its aging fleet of AH-1F Cobras. 
Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) is promoting its TAI/AgustaWestland T-129 (AW729) attack helicopter to the Pakistan Army.



PNS Babur Type 21 Frigate Will Reach Saudi Arabia Next Month

The PNS Babur frigate of the Pakistan Navy (PN) will reach at Saudi Arabian port of Jubail on 15th February. Pakistani frigate PNS Babur's visit to Saudi Arabia is part of efforts by both countries to further enhance the the ties between the navies of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

The PNS Babur is an Ex-Type 21 frigate which was decommissioned by the Royal Navy (RN) and was sold to PN on 30 September 1993. The Pakistan Navy has upgraded the  PNS Babur by equipping it with the Chinese LY-60 surface to air missiles.

The commander of the Pakistan Navy will meet with the officials of the Royal Saudi Navy to discuss matters of mutual interest.

Pakistan Navy's PNS Khaibar Frigate Reaches Dubai

The PNS Khaibar frigate of the Pakistan Navy has reached the Dubai's Port Rashid. The PNS Khaibar is currently patrolling the Indian Ocean as part of the Pakistan Navy's commitment to the anti-piracy operations in the area.
