JF-17 Thunder and Super Mushshak Represent Pakistan At Dubai Air Show

The JF-17 Thunder fighter jets and and Super Mushshak basic trainer of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has reached UAE to participate in the Dubai Air Show 2013. Three JF-17 Thunder fighter jets of the 16 Squadron ‘Black Panthers’ will represent the Pakistani defence industry in the prestigious Middle eastern air show.

Pakistan has so far inducted JF-17 Thunders into its 16 Squadron ‘Black Panthers’ and 26 Squadron ‘The Thunder Spiders.’ Plans are already underway to re-equip the 27 Squadron ‘Zarrars’ at Pakistan Air Force Base Rafiqui which currently operates Mirage 5EF ROSE III fighter attack aircraft 

Pakistan and China are pushing the JF-17 for export with Qatar and Sri Lanka are being targeted as first export customers.

Pakistan Fires 4 Maneuverable Surface to Surface Multi Tube Hatf IX (NASR) Ballistic Missiles

Pakistan Army has fired a Salvo of four Short Range Surface to Surface Multi Tube Hatf IX (NASR) Ballistic Missiles from a single transporter erector launcher (TEL) which an avoid any tactical anti-ballistic missile (ABM) system in the area and still deliver tactical nuclear warhead.

The  Short Range Surface to Surface Multi Tube Hatf IX (NASR) Ballistic Missile is a quick response system which offers Pakistan with “shoot-and-scoot’’ nuclear delivery capability to a distance of 60 kilometers.

Hatf IX NASR  is designed with capability to maneuver throughout its flight to defeat Anti ballistic Missile systems.










Hatf IX NASR is equipped with electro optical homing seeker for terminal guidance to achieve extremely low Circular Error Probable (CEP).

PNS Aslat F-22P Zulfiquar Class frigate Reaches Saudi Arabia

Pakistani Navy's PNS Aslat F-22P Zulfiquar Class frigate has reached Saudi Arabian port in Jeddah. The  Commanding Officer of the PNS Aslat F-22P frigate, Capt. Ahmad Farooq, has said that Pakistani Navy and the Royal Saudi Navy enjoy good relationship and they hold joint training naval exercisesto improve their skills and learn from the experience of each other.

PNS Aslat F-22P is a Zulfiquar Class guided missile frigate  which was commissioned on 17th April 2013. Pakistani warship has reached Saudi Arabia after visiting Russia, Turkey and Sudan. PNS Aslat is equipped with state-of-the-art combat management systems, long range antiship cruise missiles, short range airdefense missiles and torpedoes.

General Kayani Visits Pak Army Field Exercise Azm-e-Nau 4

Chief of Army Staff, General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani visited field formations engaged in training today as part of Army field exercise Azm-e-Nau-4 near Jhelum.

Witnessing field maneuvers, COAS appreciated the high state of morale and training standard displayed by participating troops. COAS will stay in the field till tomorrow to witness night training as well.
